OUR MISSION:
YOUTHandYOU uses the transformative power of the arts to promote peace, address violence, create jobs, and foster inclusivity. We empower artists and youth by providing tools, opportunities, and support to overcome barriers, protect intellectual property, and thrive creatively. Through social enterprise, we create sustainable impact by blending creativity with commerce. Through arts-based programs and social enrichment initiatives, we inspire positive change, provide constructive outlets for expression, and build stronger, safer communities.

Our teens are dying in unprecedented numbers. What are we going to do about it? At YOUTHandYOU, as a 501c4 Social Enterprise, we are tasked with using creative ways to help young people move away from violence towards positive outcomes. Art, music, poetry, song, and dance, all have the power to inspire action, spark conversations, and help create the kind of future our children deserve.

We are small, we are new, but our creative ideas, and passion around Violence Prevention is already resonating with parents, as well as our participants, and community stakeholders! ​We seek safe workable solutions for our children and youth. At YOUTHandYOU, we show how creativity through the "arts," can and IS being used as an active tool for stopping violence.

Join The Movement That Makes a Difference
We hope to launch a 'phased-in' selection of some of important programs in our area recreation centers this summer '2025, assuming they come back on line. We are recruiting volunteers and members now, YOUTHandYOU is not just a program—we are a movement where everyone has a role in stopping violence, contribute to the common good, and working to make it's residents feel safe and thrive.
